Plot:
Lightning walks in on Flash ogling his first ever zit. Flash says he's too young to get one, planning his thirteenth birthday for the first. Lightning advises him to pop it, which he does by vigorously washing it. However, all it does is leave a red rash where the pimple used to be. Amy points it out, which sends Flash to the bathroom crying. Sonic Jr. also notices, to which Flash reacts by telling everyone to get off his case. Meanwhile, Sonic is shopping at Big Lots and comes across Lydia. Sonic says that he's shopping for TV dinners that he can't find where he normally shops. Lydia points out that they don't sell frozen dinners, and Sonic clarifies by saying he meant already prepared meals. Sonic also comes across Swen, Eric, and Stevie. They're returning a birthday gift they got for Stevie because it wasn't working. Stevie shoots Sonic an evil look, but the adults just think she's playing around. However, it turns out Sonic is actually across town helping Knuckles shop for gifts for Roger and Wynona's birthdays. Knuckles tosses the idea of sunglasses for one and a radar scope for the other since they might be old enough to do real treasure hunting. Sonic suggests a set of each, to which Knuckles tells him that he isn't made of money. Amy and the kids finish their KFC at home when Sonic comes back from Big Lots. Amy asks where he has been and is suspicious on seeing bags from Big Lots. She forgets it when Flash attacks Lightning for teasing him about his zit. Amy breaks up the fight with her hammer and sends both boys to their rooms. Amy reminds Sonic that he's supposed to be helping Sonic Jr. build a model dinosaur, so they both go to Jr.'s room together. Moments later, Sonic comes back from shopping with Knuckles. This confuses Amy because she just saw Sonic go with Sonic Jr. Sonic insists that he was helping Knuckles shop for birthday gifts, a claim that becomes less believable when Tails says he sees Sonic in Junior's bedroom window. Sonic goes outside to point it out and it right when the other Sonic isn't there anymore. The other Sonic lasers Flash's zit away but malfunctions after Flash tackles him for a hug. Flash screams for everyone to come to the bathroom, drawing confusion as to who the real Sonic is. The other Sonic wakes up, sarcastically thanking Flash for the act of love. Flash homing attacks Sonic who is revealed to be Metal Sonic since his head flies off. The rest of the family finish him off, leaving his head screaming in agony. Flash is relieved to be zitless on his face, but then Lightning subtly points out that he has a new zit on his butt. Flash screams when he finds out and faints. Swen and Eric then bring Stevie over, and Sonic gives them the food Metal picked up at Big Lots. Stevie smiles at Sonic and hugs him. Swen and Eric now understand that they knew Stevie recognized the impostor right away. Lightning teases Flash about the zit on his butt, so Flash bumps him with it. Lightning starts beating him up, popping his zit and getting soaked in the pus.
