Episode 563 - TNAoSTH YouTube Shorts
Taped: 5/1/20
Plot:
Sonic and Knuckles emerge from behind the giant television, boasting that they're back in a special way. Knuckles points out the the television has a red play button, to which Sonic points out it's a special focused on YouTube channels.
Game Grumps: Arin (Charmy) and Danny (Espio) play Sonic Heroes together with Arin letting Danny pick their team except for Team Rose which he refuses to play. Danny rolls a D4 which leans on Team Chaotix, and they get started. Arin plays through the scavenger missions while Danny reads fanfiction of Sonic having a fling with Princess Peach.
Good Mythical Morning: Rhett (Knuckles) and Link (Sonic) host a segment on whether something will make a good burger. Their first sample is a cockroach burger since it qualifies as fast food residue. They find the cockroach burger crunchy but gross. Next, they try a leek burger which they deem to be a worthy alternate to a veggie burger. They then go to the bathroom where they concoct the toothpaste burger with cheese made from Listerine. Link likes it so much that he's able to convince Rhett that it does burger. Rhett throws to a video of Silver making a styrofoam rhinoceros and announcing it's time to spin the Wheel of Mythicality. Link spins the wheel to end the episode.
Taryl Fixes All: A customer (Wyn) drops a broken lawnmower off at Taryl's (Locke) repair shop with Slippers (Tails) stopping by to pick up a spark plug for his mini-bike soon after but is unable to remember which one he needs. Taryl calls down Taryl Jr. (Knuckles) to help with Wyn's mower. They determine that it's gassed up properly and that it has a spark. After they check on the head gasket, they determine that the carburetor needs cleaning due to bad gasoline buildup. He puts the cleaned parts on the mower with a new set of gaskets, telling the viewers what part number they are. Junior tests out the mower which works causing Taryl to hoot and holler in celebration. Taryl then signs off reminding his viewers to follow him on social media and buy his merch. Afterwards, Wyn is pleased when he picks up his mower with Slippers returning once again asking for a spark plug this time with the right number.
Is It a Good Idea to Microwave This?: Jory Caron (Sonic) and his sidekick (Shadow) ponder on whether or not it's a good idea to microwave the latter's headset. The sidekick screws up the safety spiel as usual before giving the recommended time of six minutes. Nothing really happens aside from there being so much smoke. When time runs out, they see that the headset melted to the glass plate. Jory determines that it's a bad idea to microwave the headset because it's no longer usable and now they need a new one.
Epic Meal Time: Sonic and Eggman cook their favorite foods, chili dogs and eggs, respectively. Sonic has 144 chili dogs ready to be eaten and Eggman has an entire spread of omelette with every cheese in the world. They each try a chili dog with a section of omelette. Then, they tear off a piece of the omelette and wrap the hot dogs inside. Finally, they have an eating contest with the remaining dogs and omelettes. The calorie count is immeasurable and the chyron advises against trying the meal at home. Eggman eats so much chili dogs and eggs that he explodes.
The Dudesons: The Dudesons (Chaotix) decide to try Finnish water skiing by tying HP (Charmy) to the bumper of a car with no skis. Jarno (Vector), Jukka (Espio), and Jarppi (Eric) floor the car, and HP skids on his feet until his shoes disintegrate. They stop when they grind his legs below his knees. They then think they can make his legs grow back by going in reverse. They run him over and drag his lifeless body down the road. Despite HP being killed, they bandage him up and think he can go skiiing again tomorrow.
Knuckles and Sonic begin to close out the show by reminding the views there there's one last piece of unfinished business. The Classics set transforms into the set of Good Mythical Morning with Sonic and Knuckles taking their seats at the desk. The still spinning Wheel of Mythicality is brought over where it lands on Gifticality. Sonic and Knuckles are each donating $1,000 to first responders of the Covid-19 outbreak. Cream then ends the show with the traditional dancing and is joined by Tails still dressed as Slippers.
