Episode 672 - Locked Up
Taped: 1/22/23
Plot:
Knuckles and Rouge leave their children in the care of Wyn and Lara-Le while they spend two weeks in Hawaii. Wyn and Lara-Le supervise a snowman building contest between Roger and Wynona. Locke sees that his favorite bar is about to open so he gets into his car. He gets out of range of his favorite station, so he throws his radio out the window. Knuckles gets into an argument with a TSA agent over his shovel claws. The agent drags him to the security office where the guard assures him that his claws are okay to fly. Rouge and Knuckles then rush over to their gate and board the plane. At the bar, Locke shoves someone while going to the bathroom. When the patron takes exception to it, Locke picks him up and throws him in a corner. This escalates into a full-size brawl which is stopped by the police. Locke is arrested for starting the brawl and for injuring several customers and a waitress. Knuckles and Rouge land in Hawaii, but their luggage winds up in Abu Dhabi. It'll take about a day to get the mix-up sorted out. Knuckles then gets a call on his phone from the police station. Locke calls, asking Knuckles to bail him out. Knuckles tells him he can't do that because he's in Hawaii, to which Locke says he has no son and hangs up. Locke tries all sorts of things to escape from his holding cell, to no avail. He notices a guard and whacks him in an attempt to knock him out cold which doesn't work. After a few days, Knuckles gets his bag back from Abu Dhabi. They notice an empty beach after a luau, so they make love there. Locke dislodges the toilet handle, thinking he can dig his way out. He only digs an eighth of an inch in several hours, so he calls it quits. Knuckles and Rouge finish their love-making session, so they sleep on the beach. Locke has given up all hope, only to hear that bail has been posted. It turns out Lara-Le paid his bail because she needs for him to be with his grandchildren. Locke thanks her by hugging her, saying it at least felt good to do that again. They agree to discuss things over lunch, namely about whether Rouge or Marine will have children with their husbands in the future. The next day, Knuckles and Rouge get back home from Hawaii. They give Roger and Wynona a Hawaiian shirt and a lei, and they thank Wyn and Lara-Le for watching over them. Some time later, Knuckles pays Locke a visit. Knuckles doesn't know whether or not to be shocked upon hearing that Lara-Le bailed him out. Locke swears off heavy drinking, admitting that he was doing it because he missed Knuckles. Knuckles says it's good to be home and it's good to have Locke home as well.
