Professor Gerald Robotnik - Eggman's grandfather and creator of Shadow who went insane after the death of Maria. Appeared in multiple episodes and was the main villain in Locke's story in "Sonic Last Gen".

Maria Robotnik - Gerald Robotnik's granddaughter and Eggman's cousin who ended up forming a very close friendship with Shadow before being killed on the ARK. Shadow was her guardian in the flashback episode "Bad Boy Botnik". Her death scars Shadow so much that it becomes a contributing factor to his insanity in TNAoSTH and eventual mid life crisis in "Mid-Life Ain't All It's Cracked Up To Be".

Liz "Mrs. Espio" the Chameleon - Former wife of Espio and mother of Karma. Had a strong distaste for Espio's lifestyle and frequently threw him out of the house. Was killed by an explosion caused by Eggman.

Karma the Chameleon - Son of Liz and Iggy the Iguana though raised by Espio. Barely knew his assumed father due to Espio's neglect. Also killed in same explosion caused by Eggman.

Alarmy Bee - Brother of Charmy Bee. Is the exact polar opposite of Charmy in personality. Very shy and timid and often very nervous. Died of a panic attack shortly after graduating college.

Rouge's mother - Unnamed. Referred to in Episode 447 - Precious Memories where she lets Rouge keep the first gem she found. Also alluded to in Episode 713 - It's Only Natural where she introduced Rouge to Vivian D’Batte, her formerly preferred brand of makeup. Died sometime before the start of the series.

Butter the Rabbit - Originally appeared as a made-up character who tries to keep up with 1940s fashions in Locke's story in Sonic Last Gen but was later added as Grandmother of Cream and mother of Vanilla. She has an older brother named Yogurt and once had a crocodile boyfriend named Tinker. Passed away at the age of 80 in Episode 448 - The Taste of Love is Sweet.

Sebastian Greyfox - Extremely flamboyant gray fox who is an employee of the Fox Science Institute and former neighbor of Amy's who has been highly infatuated with Sonic since first meeting him during Amy's first pregnancy. He still resides in the apartment building that Amy lived in prior to moving in with Sonic and assists the gang when their paths cross usually resulting in Sonic running the opposite direction. He's also known to be a bit of a stalker and desperate for love. Has a brother named Derrick. Died upon impact with the ground in Episode 498 - Upon My Liar's Chair after being thrown from the Hindenhog by Junkaholic.
