Taped: 5/17/2019
Plot:
Silver walks in on Platinum building a structure with his erector set with Platinum, unsure of how it will impress his future sister when she is born. Silver seems to think bigger is better when it comes to making things, but he thinks Platinum should try something else that interests him. Platinum admits that he likes watching sports, though he has yet to play one because he is more drawn into the statistics surrounding them. Silver thinks soccer would be perfect since Platinum has shown most interest in watching that on television. The next day, Silver signs him up for soccer practice coached by Lucy's father. Lucy stops by to give him his best wishes before Platinum tries out for the team. Despite missing the ball twice, Lucy's father still thinks he has potential and signs him up. Blaze is thrilled that Platinum made the team despite being told that he merely signed up. Platinum has a rough outing for his first practice but he still shows signs of improvement and is eager to play is first game. Silver discovers the hard way playing at home that Platinum has a powerful kick, giving him hope that he'll do well in future practices. The days pass and Platinum has built up enough confidence to play by the time his first game comes. Platinum is confused by the coach's pep talk before the game but just goes with what the team says anyway. Silver and Blaze invite Cream to watch the first game and they strike up a conversation. A coyote from the other team taunts Platinum who trash talks him back which continues throughout the game. Towards the end, Platinum's team is down by two goals but Platinum hopes to start a rally by sliding past his coyote rival. He scores a goal... for the other team and they lose by three goals. In the aftermath, Silver and Blaze tell Platinum that he doesn't have to keep playing soccer if it doesn't make him happy. Platinum still wants to play, saying there's always room for improvement. The family decides to celebrate anyway by going to Long John Silver's.
