Welcome to The New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Please read and follow the following rules. It makes life so much better when you do.
1. Do not flame or belittle someone for his or her opinions. We all think differently and don't always agree with each other. Show some respect. Disagree in a tasteful manner.
2. We don't mind adult language, but please do not use anything racial or derogatory. We have members and/or visitors of every race, religion, and sexual orientation and we do not need to hate anyone for their differences.
3. Don't be a rent-a-mod. If you see trouble, notify a real mod or admin.
4. Please keep the thread on topic. If you go off on a tangent, we'll either move it or lock it and probably give you a very stern talking to and possibly a slap on the wrist.
5. Refrain from “me too” or "I agree" posts, unless you have something of meaning to go with it. Posts like "this is my 533rd post" are not allowed.
6. Spamming and trolling are forbidden. If you spam and troll, you'll end up on the ban list.
7. Don't start a thread just to talk to one person. Use the PM function. (Private Message for the forum illiterate.) Just click on a member's name and a "Send Message" button will appear near the top right of their profile.
8. Check to be sure the topic you want to start isn't already covered. When in doubt, use the search function. It works!
9. Feel free to use your own custom avatars and signatures. Please keep all avatars appropriate and don't make them insanely huge. The forum software will automatically shrink anything over 150px by 200px. Also, 5 lines maximum is plenty for a signature.
10. One user account per person. If we find out you have more than one, we'll ban and delete all of them. Also, you must be 18 or older to register. There is adult subject matter on this site, we don't need kids contributing to it. All new accounts must be approved by an administrator. This is in order to verify your age and that you are indeed a real person. Bot accounts will be automatically deleted upon discovery. Instructions on how to register can be found here.
11. Accounts inactive for more than 120 days will be considered for deletion based on any or all of the following criteria: Post count, active participation in the show/forum, behind the scenes work with the show's staff, forum/chat behavior, account is banned. If your account was removed for inactivity, you may re-register. We ask that you register with the same username. Banned users may not re-register. If you are discovered to be a banned user, all accounts will be blocked and possibly deleted. If you know you will be inactive for an extended period of time, please let us know so we can hold your account for the amount of time you specify.
12. All messages posted express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of the administrators and moderators of this site unless they're the ones that posted it.
13. Once you've created an account, you can fill out your profile. Please keep the information you provide accurate. Any profiles we feel are in violation will be addressed accordingly by a staff member.
14. Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded. Also note that the software places a cookie in your browser's cache. This cookie is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out.
15. Moderators reserve the right to edit, close or delete any thread or post without warning or explanation.
16. Members who select to violate any of these regulations will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action. The moderators of these forums reserve the right to define “appropriate”.
17. DO NOT distribute the link to the chat room to non-members without permission from an administrator. We don't want trolls getting in.
