A while later, Tank leads Jenny over to the fountain where he tells her how much she means to him since they met in rehab. He proposes to her and she gladly accepts, thinking her baby kicking would appreciate it too. Jenny rushes off to tell her sister and friends the good news and they are all tentatively for her. Amy and Sonic let Jenny and Tank stay over at their house for the night where Amy has Sonic keep watch over Tank. Late that night, Tank stumbles over Sonic and threatens to burn down the house before breaking down and crying. Tank confesses that he is an arsonist and was forced to go to rehab as part of a sentence. He tells Sonic to keep it secret so he can announce it in public the following morning. Sonic keeps quiet about Tank until Amy shows him a news article detailing Tank's newest arson spree. Jenny barges into announce that Tank has gone missing which worries Sonic and Amy. They try to tell her about Tank but Jenny accuses them of lying and storms off to find him. Cream does a background check and discovers that Tank sets houses with propane stoves on fire. They realize that Silver and Blaze's house has gas so they rush off to stop Tank from going there. Jenny pulls up to their house only to find that Tank is already there. Tank reveals that he left because he can't marry a woman pregnant another man's baby and that he proposed because he didn't want to break her heart at the mall. Sonic and Amy pull up, relieved that Tank hasn't set Silver and Blaze's house on fire yet. Tank opens up more, confessing that he started the fires from the article that night. Jenny announces that she and Tank are through and cries over being a single mom. She then reveals that she's know who the father is all along and she kept the baby all this time for the sake of the father which she will reveal once she gives birth in two weeks. The only clue Jenny gives is that it dealt with something back in 2006 which mystifies Amy. Jenny then drives off, as does Sonic and Amy when they see storm clouds rolling in.
Fun Facts:
It's revealed that Jenny has purposely kept her baby's gender from herself until it's born. Tank's full name is revealed to be Arnold Harrington but goes by the alias of "Tank Feuer," "Feuer" being the German word for fire and the name "Tank" referring to his tendencies to burn down houses with propane tanks outside of them.
