Episode 442 - Grilled
Taped 7/2/17
Plot:
Silver has loaded his cart with packages of hot dogs, expecting a huge party (including Big) for his Independence Day barbecue. While Platinum lugs it around, Silver loads another one with buns, ketchup and mustard. Before paying, he realizes he doesn't have a grill to cook the hot dogs on so he decides to take Platinum shopping for one. They bring the food home where Blaze suggests looking for someone who can not only find them the right grill but also help them bring it home. They run into Cream at the dollar store where Silver gushes at all the cheap things to buy. He settles on several cases of Mondo and shares a bottle with Platinum. The trio then heads over to Mobi-Mart where Silver is taken with watermelon being on sale for so cheap but shies away when he sees how rotten the fruit has become. They walk over to the grill display where they see that all the barbecues have been purchased already. They decide to go to a competitor's store, Big Bullseye, instead. Silver is at first smitten at how much cleaner the place is but takes it back when he gets lost in a display of clothes and bean bag chairs. Unfortunately, the outdoor area is closed for renovations and a forklift runs over the last usable grill. They decide to try out an old run-down Kmart which Platinum thinks is haunted. Silver leads them inside anyway where an elderly employee leads them inside and tells them they're the first customers they've had in 15 years. He leads them to the outdoor area and hands them a machete since it's overgrown with weeds. The employee then turns to dust and disappears, prompting Silver to ask Cream for advice. Silver ignores Platinum and Cream telling him to get out until the store starts to collapse around them. Meanwhile, Amy and Sonic hear about Cream helping Silver through a text message. They decide to help them out by surprising them with their old grill. They carry it out but unfortunately, they text Cream just as Silver completes a transaction for an expensive grill at Dan Groghan's Grillin' Barn. It's too big to fit in Cream's car so he somehow telekinetically fits it on her roof instead. Since the car cannot support its weight, Silver takes it off with Cream suggesting they return it. The store closes before he can do that, leaving Cream to call him out on his stupidity. Silver starts to cry, saying Cream can take Platinum home to the party since he deserves to be alone. Platinum tries to cheer him up and he does when he realizes Cream's car has a trailer hitch. Silver goes across the street and buys a trailer which they hitch to the car and put the grill on it. They drive over to Silver's house only to discover Sonic already cooking on the barbecue he delivered. He and Amy tell Silver that they were texting Cream about it while he was buying the expensive one on impulse. The point becomes moot when Silver discovers a defective part in his, so he'll return it later for a full refund. Sonic and Amy buy the trailer since they figure they can make use of it later on. While everyone eats, Sonic and Silver go out to unhitch the trailer, only to discover someone stole it while they were talking. Silver decides to load the defective grill onto Sonic's truck telekinetically and bribes Sonic with a chili dog. Amy meanwhile shows pictures of Jenny who's six months along and managing well in rehab. Cream and Blaze are astounded at her progress and wish her well. Just then a Lincoln Navigator pulls up and Jenny walks out, boasting it as her new "babymobile." She bought it as a present for herself for staying clean for six months and getting her license back. Silver comments on everything going right at the party with the exception of the trailer being stolen. Sonic wonders what happened to it and it turns out Mike Pence is dragging it to the White House because it's what he thinks is a Covfefe for Donald Trump.
Fun Facts:
As of this episode Jenny now has her license back and drives a brand new Lincoln Navigator. It's revealed that Station Square's equivalent to Target is known as Big Bullseye in the same way that Mobi-Mart is their equivalent to Walmart.

Junky: Silver, Amy, Jenny, Kmart employee, owner of Dan Groghan's, Mike Pence
