Episode 391 - Uso Yamete
Taped: 5/29/16
Plot:
Sonic has crammed his wife and kids in a taxi en route to the Japanese Sega headquarters for "take your kids to work day". Amy has become so frustrated with the flight over that she hits Sonic with her hammer, embedding him in his seat. Sonic explains that he invited the kids on a tour of the office and Amy announces her intent to go sightseeing instead. Cream and Tails arrive in a different taxi, having taken a different flight to Japan and come along for the tour. Cream decides to accompany Amy on her trip while Sonic and Tails take their kids inside the building. The tour guide, who has been brushing up on his English, shows them their first stop: A giant golden statue of Sonic which Sonic takes a liking to. He then shows 3D sculptures of Sonic's most prominent characters. They then come across a fountain several stories high, prompting Sonic to ask why it's so huge. The tour guide says they outdo themselves all the time in Japan, even Sonic. Cream and Amy browse through some Engrish T-shirts for their husbands when they see a group of excited people waiting outside in line. After paying for a pair of shirts, they get in the line which leads to the inside of a television studio. It turns out they're in the audience for a Japanese game show and Amy is picked directly out of the audience to participate. Amy must drown rubber ducks in an entire whipped cream filled pond to win a trip to America or she will face punishment. The catch is she has to do it in a wetsuit filled with grease. Miraculously, while she thrashes about, she completes the challenge. Meanwhile, the tour guide takes Sonic's group through a history of their games but they come across a restricted area. They confirm it was the cancelled game Sonic X-treme and the guide places an obedience chip on Sonic so they can deny its existence. The tour guide then controls Sonic into snatching the game out of Lightning's hands so the company can destroy it. Amy gears up for her next challenge: activating flashing monkey penis targets using a human hamster ball. Amy unknowingly completes this challenge as well, drawing the ire of the host and the announcer. Back at the tour, Sonic cuts off Lightning's access to the company's computers, saying he has to be 18 in order to work for Sega's headquarters. He also stops Sonic Jr. from watching the CGI unit who is working on animating Rouge's boobs. Amy has to make sushi plates and bring them across the room without using her hands as her final challenge. However, she has become so fed up with the show that she wishes another Hiroshima and Nagasaki on Japan. The host and the announcer, not thrilled by this, threaten to put her in a tank of longhorn beetles as her punishment. Amy apologizes and pleads with them to let her to the challenge and they relent. After Amy completes the challenge, she finds out that she has to be a Japanese citizen to be on the show. Amy confesses that she does have Japanese connections through Sega but since she's employed by them, she is ineligible to receive any prizes. After the staff ushers her out of the studio, she and Cream pretend the whole thing didn't happen and shop for kimonos instead. At the end of Sega's tour, the chip malfunctions in Sonic's body, causing him to faint. The tour guide apologizes and asks Sonic not to sue, to which he replies by having him cater to his whims. Amy and Cream step in and give their husbands two Engrish shirts and their kids an assortment of toys to remember their Japan trip by. The group eats dinner at a restaurant near their hotel where Amy swears she will never touch sushi again. She also wonders if Sega of America has a tour for children to which Sonic says it's against company policy ever since an incident in 1996.
