Episode 385 - Diarrhea Drama
Taped: 4/17/16
Plot:
Vanilla swaddles Sam while Cream prepares her newly acquired gumbo recipe for Tails. Vanilla questions whether Tails will like it as he doesn't normally do spicy food but Cream reassures her mother that Tails is open to trying new things. Vanilla takes Sam to find Tails and Miles in the garage where Tails proudly proclaims he's built a special tricycle for Sam. However, Vanilla isn't impressed as she feels he's far too young for such at thing at only 3 weeks old. As they return to the dining room, Cream presents Tails with her gumbo which he immediately loves and devours a huge portion of it. Tails then returns to his work as Knuckles arrives with a wheel puller to assist. As they continue their tinkering, Tails gets noticeably more sweaty and pale with each passing minute and develops a severe need for a bathroom. Forgetting the upstairs toilet is in mid-repair, he uses the sink instead in an act of desperation. Knuckles comes to check on his ailing friend only to be disgusted by the tremendous stench. Tails, realizing he's decommissioned the sink, makes a run for the downstairs bathroom but fails to make it. He instead leaves a mess on the floor much to Vanilla and Cream's horror. As the three clean up the mess, Tails crawls into the bathroom and commences turning it completely brown in minutes. A horrified Vanilla retreats to the kitchen while Knuckles goes in search of a doctor willing to make a house call. He returns moments later with Locke who claims to know a doctor friend he met at the local VFW named, appropriate enough, Dr. Colin Buttley. After an odd exchange over the phone, "Doc" as he's referred to by Locke, agrees to help Tails in his time of need. After stopping at three different wrong houses, including Amy's, Doc finally arrives and is led to Tails who is planted firmly on the toilet. After questioning whether or not Tails has any food allergies and determining that he consumed a large amount of gumbo, Doc suspects Tails may be allergic to creole seasoning as one of its potential allergy symptoms is diarrhea. Doc decides to test this theory by force feeding Tails an entire canister of seasoning prompting an immediate deluge of brown liquid that covers Locke head to toe. As a remedy for the ailing fox's predicament, he proceeds to force feed Tails a giant Immodium capsule that seems to stop the flow. Doc then delivers a long-winded lecture on the turning of food into poo only to be ushered out of the house by Locke. Vanilla comforts an embarrassed Cream by assuring her that no one was at fault for Tails' situation as nobody could have known he had such an allergy beforehand. The next day, Tails is back to normal and is once again found in the garage with Miles. This time, instead of the tricycle, he's working on a super absorbent diaper for Sam that's clearly way too big for the tiny rabbit. Tails brings Sam to Cream to show off his new creation. She presents him with her usual spaghetti and meatballs and assures him it contains no creole seasoning. As Tails, Cream, and Vanilla enjoy their meal, Sam disappears into his overly puffy diaper with his ears poking out of the leg holes.
Fun Facts:
