Episode 375 - I Got Dollar Signs
Taped 1/31/16
Plot:
Blaze sends Silver to do some grocery shopping for the family. On the way home, Silver sees an old man stuck in the snow so he reaches in and digs out his wheelchair. The old man, Xavier Esperanto, reveals himself to be very rich and because he saved his life, he decides to put him in his will in case he dies...which he does a minute later. Silver runs home and tells Blaze that they're rich because of what happened. Soon enough, they arrive at a large mansion...which turns out to be the servants' living quarters. The real, bigger mansion is down the road and they waste no time moving in. Silver finds a 1903 Oldsmobile in a garage filled with over 300 cars and decides to take Blaze along for a test drive. They pick up Cream with it after they go to Wendy's. Silver later invites Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, and Cream to the mansion and gives them a tour, boasting their amenities. With Silver, Blaze, and Knuckles ready to indulge in a questionable "rich person" activity, Amy brings Sonic, Rouge, and Cream home and tells them the countless money has made Silver and Blaze way too snobbish and they need to find a way to get them broke again. Rouge comes in with a large envelope which has the terms of the will. If Silver doesn't do anything charitable with the inheritance by midnight, it is null and void and it will be divided among his 18 heirs. They return to the mansion to make sure Silver hasn't donated any of it yet but he and Blaze challenge them to a horse race backwards and blindfolded. If Silver or Blaze wins, they'll donate $5,000,000 of the inheritance to charity. Cream sits out of the race and instead fires the starting gun and holds the checkered flag. Sonic and Amy agree to cheat together by taking off their blindfolds. Knuckles, unaware of the plan, loses control of his horse and is thrown into the stands. Amy then leaves the race to toss a bag of carrots to distract Silver's horse. After Sonic jumps off his horse, it immediately trips Blaze's horse. Silver catches up and is closing in for the win but Rouge crosses the finish line first. Not to be outdone, Silver and Blaze challenge the gang to a hold your pee contest by having everybody drink a gallon of lemonade. Sonic, Silver, and Cream are the last ones standing until Sonic lets it out all over the floor instead of the bathroom. Silver then makes a break for the bathroom, giving Cream the victory. Silver then decides to go to bed with it being midnight and at that point, the gang reveals the fine print of the will. Silver and Blaze are grief-stricken over losing their fortune and the gang tells them it was for the best since they money made them act too snobbish. Silver decides to donate $5,000,000 of the money he never had anyway to Bob Barker's DJ&T Foundation. As usual, Bob gives $500 of his own money to Cream. When Bob sees the horses, he goes into his super mode and sets them free.
Fun Facts:
It's revealed that, while Silver and Blaze both love to engage in strange activities, Silver prefers his simple family life in his modest suburban home over the fancy life.
Cast:
Junky: Silver, Amy, Knuckles, Bob Barker, Wendy's employee, Dr. Reginald Hardcastle, Xavier Esperanto
