Episode 340 - Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow
Taped 5/31/15
Plot:
Amy steps into Sonic's office to announce that she is taking on a new job, despite Sonic saying that his paycheck from Sega is enough of a steady income. She tells him she has landed an endorsement deal from a shampoo company and that her first shoot starts later that day. The couple bring Cream and Tails over to the studio where they meet Javier, the director who speaks to Amy in risque terms. After an extensive shoot, using multiple retakes, Amy's day is finally over and Javier will let her know what footage will be used in the commercial. Amy wakes up the next morning to find that all her fur is completely gone. It turns out they never gave her a contract to sign and that she never was suspicious of the endorsement deal. Cream comes over and Amy is forced to explain what happened and why she wanted to shoot the commercial in the first place. She started using the shampoo instead of what she normally bought but never thought that after so many washes in one sitting that it would be this strong. Javier then calls to let Amy know the commercial is finished and invites her to the studio so she can see it in its entirety. When they get there, it turns out Amy is only there for a split second with the rest focused on the bottle itself. Amy angrily shows what the shampoo did to her fur but to her surprise it's all grown back. Luckily, Cream has a picture of what happened to her this morning and shows it to the staff for proof. However, Amy notices the disclaimer on the bottle, saying that the regrowth of hair is explosive after repeated usage. She then tells the staff that she quits because endorsement deals drag her away from Sonic and the kids. The next day, Sonic and Amy shoot a scene for the next Sega game with Amy in a wedding dress chasing Sonic into the sunset.
