Episode 334 - Are You Smarter Than a 5 Year Old?

Plot:
At Platinum's birthday party, Sheila and Harold bring him a present that they hope will help him excel in kindergarten, a stack of reading material. Platinum goes through reading, physics, and geometry, picking up each with ease. However, most of the harder material becomes too much for Silver to handle and he is forced to admit why he was sent two centuries into the past. He was declared legally retarded by 23rd century standards and banished to the 21st century, a period where he would fit in with everybody else. He further explains that despite what was told in Sonic '06, his quest to find the Ibilis Trigger was actually nothing more than a way to get rid of him. Sheila suggests taking an IQ test to determine his current status and the gang finds one from Yuji Naka University. Tails takes the test and finds out his IQ is higher than he thought. While Silver takes the test, he struggles on one question before finally deciding on the right answer. It turns out his IQ is 101 and that it went up two points from before he was banished, 100 points being the cutoff point in the 23rd century. Platinum also takes the test and scores 121, making his parents very proud. Silver and Platinum decide to celebrate by learning more from his books but become bored after a mere 20 minutes. They instead play some video games, to which Platinum beats the pants off his father at doing. Sheila confesses that the one question Silver struggled at, quadrilaterals, she never knew about until just now since she was more interested in boys than her studies when she was in school. She then notices Harold getting a turn and showing Platinum how to punch prostitutes in Grand Theft Auto V. Harold defends it by saying it's a skill he may need to know later on in life.
