Episode 224 - Where Have All the Prowers Gone?

Plot:
Vanilla is paying Tails, Cream, and Miles a visit when a discussion about family begins. It's realized that nobody has ever seen Tails' family. Tails begins to deliver an explanation citing a sister he rarely sees but Vanilla quickly calls him out on it knowing he has no such sister. Tails decides to go out in search of his family much to Vanilla and Cream's approval. As Tails departs, Vanilla and Cream both hint to what they hope Tails really accomplishes. Tails seeks Knuckles for help since Sonic is nowhere to be found and the red one gladly agrees. As if on cue, Rouge swoops in to join them not wanting to be left out of the adventure. Once again, they return to the Fox Science Institute and are greeted by Sebastian who is disappointed that Sonic isn't with them. He refers them to Prof. Foxworth, an elderly scientist who specializes in genealogy. While on their way, Rouge and Knuckles hint to Tails how wonderful married life is and each reveal to the other that they received a message from Vanilla. Upon their arrival, the professor emerges from his lab declaring his discovery of a connection between Ma Barker and Bob Barker. Realizing the unique trio are not his crew, he questions their presence which they explain. The professor searches his computer banks based on the information Tails provides. The search reveals a distant relation to Eric, Greg, Stacy, and her son Sheldon, but no parents or siblings. The professor asks Tails if he has his birth certificate with him which he does, but it's badly water damaged and hard to read the sections regarding parents. The professor places it under a microscope and, with the help of Knuckles and Rouge, discovers a name that appears to read "Rosemary" based on imprints left by the typewriter used to make it. The professor searches the name "Rosemary Prower" and finds that she was indeed the mother of 1 child, a son, but the son is unnamed in all found documentation. However, another name is shown, Amadeus Prower, the husband and father. The professor reveals that the parents were killed in an attack on South Island by a Dr. Julian Ivo Robotnik. The shocked trio realize that to be none other than Dr. Eggman. The professor looks through the microscope again and finds what appears to be the name "Amadeus" thus confirming they are indeed Tails' parents. Just then, Locke arrives and tells the story of the attack and that it happened January 1, 1992, just before Sonic found Tails roaming near the ocean that same year, thus explaining why his birth certificate was water damaged due to being found amongst the floating debris from the attack. Rouge then comforts Tails and reminds him that even though he has no other family, he still has Sonic and more importantly, still has Cream and Miles. Tails rushes out leaving everyone stunned. He returns home to an open-armed Cream who asks if he found his family. Tails proclaims that he has and it's right in front of him. Vanilla and Cream are delighted to hear this just as Tails pulls out a tiny box. He proposes to Cream right there on the spot and she readily accepts. Vanilla explains that she planned this all along and that Knuckles, Rouge, and Locke were all in on it. A few days later, Vanilla is helping Cream get fitted for her wedding dress and is overjoyed. Meanwhile, Knuckles and Sonic are watching Tails get fitted for his tuxedo and Tails explains that the wedding will be in the spring when all the flowers are in bloom on May 19th. Back at Chaotix, Vanilla has come home and shares her excitement with Vector. In the next room, Espio and Charmy are eavesdropping. Charmy turns to Espio and is amazed by how Espio's dare to Vector to unload his spunk into a douche bottle 23 years ago led to this.

FieldsFan336 officially takes over the role of Rouge as of this episode. Koopa arrived late in the episode thus explaining why Sonic and Vector were absent during the first ¾ of the show. As of this episode, Tails and Cream are engaged with a schedule wedding date of May 19th. Also, we now know the fate of Tails' parents and why they've never been seen. Prof. Foxworth was a spoof of Prof. Hubert Farnsworth from Futurama.
