Episode 188 - Come Hungry, Leave Hooked
Taped: 5/26/12
Plot:
Blaze is eagerly anticipating IHOP's grand re-opening up due to a kitchen accident that kept them from celebrating Platinum's second birthday in the restaurant. Silver is unsure of having to bring their son to celebrate and reminds Blaze of what happened last time they were there. She is set to go but they can't leave because it is pouring outside. Cream rings the doorbell to give Platinum a belated birthday present, a picture book. Downstairs, Vanilla beeps her horn, signalling that she is ready to go out to eat. Cream, Silver, Blaze and Platinum head downstairs and arrive at IHOP to discover Sonia is the new waitress. Silver recounts their last experience when Blaze was pregnant with Platinum. The two scarfed down on everything they could get their hands on, even the syrup, sugar, ketchup and other people's food. Silver breaks through his chair and regurgitates his entire meal while Blaze becomes stuck in her chair. Vanilla gets a call from Vector saying a career criminal broke into Silver's apartment building and that they are on a manhunt. However, it turns out to be a hoax; Chaotix is actually going bowling as a team along with Fluffy as their mascot. They drive toward the alley where only one lane is open but they take it, hoping a challenge comes their way. Charmy renames the team "Chaoshit" and gives all the Chaotix members names that resemble female anatomy. Chaotix takes their turns bowling; after one frame, Vector has a score of 3, Charmy has 4, Espio throws a strike after intentionally using Charmy as his ball, and Mighty gets a spare. Vector rolls into a 7-10 split when Team Dark arrives with Bokkun as their mascot with a bowling ball as a head. He stumbles around due to the massive weight throwing off his center of balance. Every member gets a strike, using an unorthodox way to do so: Omega shoots them down, Rouge uses her cleavage as a cannon, Shadow uses Chaos Blast and Eggman uses Bokkun. As the game progresses, the teams suddenly become evenly matched. After Mighty throws his last ball, he realizes all Eggman's team needs is at least a spare to win. Eggman, the final bowler, has indulged in the alley's food so much that his shirt's buttons are bursting. He rolls down Bokkun who by this time is pleading for mercy for eight pins. His final ball is never rolled because he suffers a heart attack on the spot. Chaoshit declares a foul and their team wins. Vector takes this opportunity to call Vanilla at home to inform her that the career criminal has been caught. However, he calls in the middle of a crisis at IHOP and she can't talk to him. At the restaurant, Platinum has gone on a breakfast binge, eating other customers' food. When Silver wonders how much more he can cram into his stomach, he finally hurls on one customer's lap. The manager walks into the fiasco and fires Sonia on the spot, though she never was responsible. Silver's party is also kicked out for causing this to happen and Blaze admits that Silver was right about taking Platinum to IHOP. Silver suggests they forget the whole thing by going bowling and they march to the alley together just as a celebration is breaking out. They quickly realize the Chaotix is in there and that they made up a case so they can have the night off. Vanilla storms in and upon noticing her, Vector inadvertently throws Charmy so high he crashes through the ceiling. Vanilla drags him out and Silver comically remarks on what Vector's potential punishment and the episode ends.
