Episode 153 - Matzoh-mattah-fa-you?!
Taped: 04/22/11
PLOT:
Continuing where the previous episode left off, it is the next day and the place has been cleared up. Blaze's parents are coming over to celebrate Passover and Silver, unaware of the holiday, has to be explained a bit of what Passover is from Blaze herself. Soon, they show up to help teach Silver and Platinum about Passover. Silver enjoys the Passover Peeps and the whole family gets together around the table to talk about Blaze's family heritage. An hour later, the story is told but Silver still doesn't understand it. He asks a bunch of questions and doesn't get too many answers. Blaze and Sheila talk, seeing the problem. They decide to keep trying by having Harold take Silver to a synagog where their rabbi could help them out. However Silver doesn't like going to new places alone and is allowed to bring Sonic with him. Later, at his house they startle a sleeping Sonic. Luckily for Silver, Sonic is just as clueless about the holiday as he is and is interested in finding out more. Since Amy and the kids are out all day getting dinner, Sonic has time to join them. Sonic happily joins them and they head to the synagog and soon arrive while Sonic and Silver make sense of Passover. As they enter the synagog Harold hands them yarmukles. They go into the bathroom and Silver reveals to Sonic that he doesn't like being Jewish and only converted because of Blaze. Silver gets an idea that Sonic likes: if they're quick enough, they can go back in time and see how it happened first hand. They do so, since Sonic had a Chaos Emerald and Silver can travel through time, and run into Moses. He gets told by God to go to the Pharoah and claim God will plague the country so he'd be spared. Silver gets an idea to rewrite the story of Passover to make it better to which Sonic agrees and they both help Moses build a robot army to help establish a plan, despite robots not being invented by this time. The robotic army sets off to destroy the pharoah, who is none other than Ramses. Coincidentally, he's big and fat like Eggman. He even has a servant, Bokkunotep, who tells him that Moses should be dead in the desert. The robotic army arrives, and so does Moses. Ramses and Bokkunotep argue and Ramses just sends Bokkunotep into a lion chamber. Ramses decides to release the Egypt Golem but for some reason, it gets named the Egg Golem. Ramses uses it to attack the army and Moses. Of course, Sonic remembers the device fondly. Meanwhile, Silver is talking to the slave people and uses his telekinesis to part the Red Sea so they can run off and escape. The army was just a distraction. Silver tells them to declare ham the official meat, listen to Jesus when he's born in a couple of thousand years, and not let anyone invent Germany. When Silver realizes a slave he's been talking to doesn't have a name, he names him Silver the Great and has every child born from here on out will have that name of greatness. The slave gets named the leader of the world. Thinking Moses is dead from the shitty robots, Silver also writes down 10 commandments on a napkin. The slaves finally head off. All of a sudden, things get ripply. It turns out none of it happened and Silver passed out in the bathroom after he slipped and hit his head on a urinal. They gave Silver plenty of injections and played the Old Testament on his iPod all night so he'll be a full fledged Jew when he wakes up. He does so and sure enough, he gets what happened. He also realized two things: flat bread is still nasty and he actually hates ham. The others just roll their eyes at Silver being himself and the episode ends.
FUN FACTS: It's revealed that Sonic always carries change with him and tries his best to have at least one Chaos Emerald at all times. Both of these episodes were part of a double feature and, since the stories were technically combined through the two episodes, have been combined into one recap.
