Episode 148 - Girl's Got Rhythm

PLOT:
Charmy is looking at a picture of Sonia while singing badly. After waking up Charisma and angering Vector, he flies off to perform another plan: go off to serenade Sonia. It just so happens that it was at a good time, as Manic departs to go do something, leaving Sonia alone. Charmy makes his move and flirts with her for a while before failing and being mocked by Mace who happened to be passing by. Charmy departs and turns to Sonic for help, who tells them that she's most comfortable around Manic. Charmy tells Sonic he's going to model himself after Manic to get her in love with him. After returning home, he lies to the rest of the Chaotix by making up a fake mission from the president in order to get access to Sonia and Manic's house. He manages to dress himself up like Manic with Espio and Mighty's help and heads to Sonia and Manic's house. There, he puts up with many things that he doesn't like, including grape soda. He "accidentally" spills the soda on Sonia and Charmy, much to his delight, gets to see her undress and take a shower. As she finishes up, disaster strikes for Charmy when the real Manic returns. They decide to figure out the real Manic by having a drum-off. Charmy, believing he's the best drummer on the planet and still dressed as Manic, wants Sonic to come over to be the judge. Sonia gets re-dressed and texts him to do so. Soon Sonic shows up and, remembering Charmy's earlier visit, says that one of the two Manics is Charmy. The drum-off takes place. Manic, of course, is successful. Manic can drum earthquakes and Charmy couldn't. Charmy reveals himself and says he wants to talk to her to win her over more appropriately. After some coaxing from Manic, she comes out and Charmy, shockingly, throws away his entire drug stash. Saying he's changed for good, he mentions that the bees that helped them move that one time were just crackheads he used to know and not actually his hive. Even more shocking is that Sonia is willing to give Charmy a chance, so long that he goes to rehab. He agrees and the four of them hug, to Sonic's shock causing him to faint. He then wakes up to see Sonia and Charmy kiss before Charmy departs, then faints again. Back with the Chaotix, Charmy tells the others the news. He goes off to fix his room up, as the others are left happy over his news. Meanwhile, Sonic has woken up but is visibly shaken from the news. However, he's now home to Amy, who's trying to make him feel better. They decide to reveal the news that Amy whispered to him last week to the viewers: a new TNAoSTH movie coming soon and Epic Month, starting next week. Sonic twitches again and the episode ends.
FUN FACTS: Lots of new details appear in this episode such as Sonia's love of "Mobian Idol" and "Glee" as well as Manic's love of grape soda. This is TPIRFan1986's first appearance as Charisma in this episode.
