Episode 122 - You May Kiss... Whoever Receives
Taped: 09/17/10
PLOT:
Amy is cutting Sonic's toenails...and suffering...when Espio shows. Amy quickly dumps the duty of the toenails on him while Amy goes to watch TV. She soon puts it on the local news and finds out the top story: per the Mayor of Station Square's wishes, same-sex marriage in the city is now legal. They realize some people will be adored at the news, such as Swen and Eric. Another couple, however, is about to find out that news: Junkaholic and Stormy, who are dealing with cleaning up the toilet. Due to Junkaholic's spiky security system, he injures himself and has Stormy go to the local gas station to get a newspaper and bandages. He gets there and meets a cigar smoke coughing attendant and gets a coughing spell in the process. He is hinted of the fact the top story is interesting by the attendant. As Stormy walks away after paying, the guy drops his cigar and blows up the gas station. Stormy shrugs it off and heads back home, wondering what that little hint was all about. When he gets home, he gives a bloody toilet paper wrapped Junky his band-aids and takes a gander at the front page, finally realizing what the gas station guy meant. After experiencing plenty of frustration trying to get Junkaholic to see the story, he points it out to him and after he gets Junky's mind to click, he realizes the situation. However all the blood loss makes him stumble and fall to the floor. Stormy takes Junkaholic to the hospital in Junky's Hindenhog as Junkaholic slowly starts going far off into a fantasy land. Back with Sonic and Amy, they're in bed as Sonic's "toenail problem is solved" at last as they have little woo woo between the two of them. Espio interferes and they realize that they need to go see Jenny at the hospital since her last alcohol binge resulted in her liver having to be flushed. Espio wants to tag along with the two of them as they leave and Amy reluctantly agrees. They arrive and look for her 401 room number when they see Junky and Stormy and decide to visit them to see what's up. While they're visiting, Junky makes the official announcement of their engagement...before they actually propose, which they then do. Sonic is to invite all his friends as the wedding is tomorrow. The license will be purchased that night and a best man is selected. They all leave, and Amy doesn't realize she forgot about Jenny. Later that night, everyone has been invited...even Bokkun, Eggman, Bowser, and the Mario Brothers who all said they'll be able to come. The wedding will take place at the top of the Master Emerald shrine on Angel Island. The next morning, Stormy wakes up and sees that Junkaholic is still sleeping. After seeing some...odd sights from Junkaholic...he goes to the kitchen to make Junky's favorite breakfast and drink. Junkaholic soon awakens and sees what Stormy is doing as he questions whether he really does have a favorite breakfast. They know of what's to come during the day and know they have no time to waste. Meanwhile the others are getting the place ready for the wedding. All the guests soon arrive after the decorations are put up. Bowser flirts with Rouge but soon regrets it when he hears that he's on Rouge's boyfriend's island who, of course, is Knuckles. The priest is ready to kick things off and the lovely couple: Junkaholic and Stormy, arrive via the Hindenhog. They both walk down the aisle and the wedding begins. It turns out that the best man is Maury, who was made the best man by Junkaholic to repay money he owed Maury from the bad ratings the episode Junkaholic paid Maury to fix got. They each get their rings and put them on each other's hands. They kiss and are officially married. Both newlyweds get into the Hindenhog and Junkaholic flies it low so that way everyone can follow them to the wedding reception at Casinopolis. There, Bob Barker is hosting it. Sonic realizes how great the day was and soon finds out why Junky was in the hospital, which is what is behind the reasoning behind the sign banning spikes near the bathroom toilets. Junkaholic asks Sonic if Amy would carry a child for the couple since they can't have children. Of course, Amy declines the offer. Junkaholic and Stormy, who has gotten very drunk at the reception and is speaking like a sailor. Both depart for home as the reception closes and Bob Barker ends it with his traditional sign off. "What I'm Made Of" by Crush 40 plays as clips of Stormy and Junkaholic play. The episode then shows Stormy and Junkaholic arriving home on the Hindenhog. Stormy, still drunk, is carried over to the couch. He passes out as Junkaholic knows it's back to normality and puts the TV on "Sandford and Son." He admires Stormy next to him and the episode ends.
