Episode 113 - Ace of Spayed
Taped: 07/16/10
PLOT:
Amy is getting her shopping done. Mighty is there to help her out as she gets food for Sonic and the kids. When Amy uses her credit card, a Sega pay card, it gets denied. Nothing changes after three tries. Amy barely has enough cash on her. She gets home to find Sonic frozen in shock. When she asks what's wrong, Sonic points to a letter on the table. Amy reads it and discovers that Sega is canceling the Sonic franchise. Sonic snaps out of it after some help from Amy and knows Sega has had no problem with the franchise. He's certain there's more to this and aims to find out what. They ponder who could be behind this and Junkaholic is brought up as a possibility. Meanwhile in another city, Bob Barker is relaxing and watching TV. After tuning it away from TPIR taking place, he runs into CNN and hears the news story of Sonic's Sega situation. Bob is very angry that an animal is being treated so unfairly and decides to take action. Back with Amy, she has the twins in a stroller and they're off to Sega. Sonic notices someone up ahead and it turns out to be Bob Barker. He, too, is off to Sega to give them hell when he sees the others behind him. It takes a bit but he discovers that he's talking to Sonic and his family and lets them come along with him. Meanwhile, Mike Richards is sitting in the executive chair, glad that he's rid of the animals and can now find his own people. He decides to call Drew to get his suggestions on who to hire so long as he doesn't mention Rich. The gang realize how crazy Mike is and Bob agrees, saying they just can't approach him without a plan. Bob says they must find someone who's sneaky and Sonic wonders who. Espio then arrives after being jammed on the subway and joins the group. Bob realizes that chameleons such as Espio can turn invisible, which is exactly what they need with their plan and is exactly what Espio does. Vector and Cream soon arrive as well and join the party. Bob explains the plan: Espio will go in while invisible. There, he wants him to plant Bob's microphone in a spot Mike Richards won't be able to see. Vector is given the role to spy in on Mike to send information to the group on what he's saying. The Chao is assigned to look in his office window and inform the party when he's coming their way. Sonic and Amy are to wait by the rear entrance of the building while Mighty and Cream wait by the front entrance. No matter where Mike goes, he'll get clobbered by either pair. Bob will be relaying messages to everyone inside the elevator and gives everyone an earpiece. With that, the plan is launched. Mike is talking on the phone in his office with his plan to Drew to do away anything from the Sonic era and make it The Drew Carey Sega with Mimi Bobeck replacing Amy. Espio successfully performs his task as Mike goes on to say that the site of golden-road.net will be the villains to replace Eggman. When he talks bad about what Bob Barker talks about, Bob gets really angry. He storms Mike's office and kicks the door down. He's all set to do battle with Mike and turns the microphone he had Espio plant in his office into a light saber. Bob backs Mike to the window and kicks him out of it, the entire thing spoofing a TPIR episode. Mike had landed into the dumpster. Amy, after telling Mighty to let go of Mike, hammers him to a bloody pulp. Bob comes out of the building and likes what he sees with Amy and gives Sonic $500 because of it, again spoofing TPIR. After saying that everything will be back to normal, Bob departs just like he does on The Price is Right and walks off into the sunset, putting down his microphone in the process. Rich Fields does a sign off and asks Sonic if Sega could get him a job. Sonic says he can try and Rich is pleased about this. The episode then ends.
FUN FACTS: This is the first time Espio turns invisible in the series. This episode was dedicated to Rich Fields who was recently fired from The Price is Right.
RUNNING GAGS: Bob forgetting Mighty's name and species. Constant references to The Price is Right.
QUOTES:
Bob Barker: *flips through channels* hmm....lets see...*stops on TPIR* ... who in the HELL is that guy? This can't be the right show...where's the old guy that used to host it? This is awful.
Bob Barker: *puts down tequila* *gets up* *puts on suit* *grabs microphone* They're in for a showcase showdown like they ain't never seen!
Bob Barker: Richards, we meet at last. I kicked Sandler's ass and now it's your turn! *extends mic into a light saber* I'm gonna cut off your nuts and LET 'EM ROLL! You won't be able to start again for 37 hours. *backs Mike towards the window* You have 25 steps to move safely before you fall. See what's below you? That's the $10,000 slot. Hopefully that's where you land. *kicks Mike out the window* OOOOOOHHHHH! A zero! That's too bad. *looks at camera* More fun after this announcement!
Bob Barker: *watching Amy pound Mike to a pulp* My she's a feisty one... reminds me of Dian. *hands Sonic $500* Here's a $500 bonus. With a woman like her I'd say you've got a perfect bid.
