Episode 104 - Her World
Taped: 05/07/10
PLOT:
Amy is rocking in a recliner with the twins and Espio says Sonic, who went out with Lightning, wanted him for something. Amy says he should be home soon. They're at the mall and Sonic tells Lightning that they're shopping for a present for Amy due to it being Mother's Day. After many different ideas, a Sears employee (JUNKAHOLIC95) shows up to help. Eventually, after finding out Shadow is their new mascot for lawnmowers, they find two gifts: pink spray paint since Amy loves pink things and an electrical buffer since Amy wants to polish her hammer. The paint will be from Lightning and the buffer from Sonic. They go to check out and Sonic ends up paying for extra things just because he thinks they're blue or because he has to for various reasons given by the employee. Back at home, Amy realizes that she wants to be in her own game after she sees an advertisement for a Mario game on TV. Back in the mall, Sonic is still having to pay stuff, including a weed whacker Lightning bent up. As Sonic departs, Vector shows up wanting a crazy thing that isn't sold there. Back at home, Sonic arrives. However not only did Amy spot the gifts early, turns out he got her the same thing last year. Sonic decides to try to make that game that Amy wants happen. Later on, Sonic meets with Sega to see what can be done. They explain that they don't have the funding because of that Sears endorsement not going too well, but do love the idea. They suggest an alternative: see Nintendo about it instead. Sonic, Amy, and Espio all head to Nintendo's headquarters. It turns out the executive is none other than Junkaholic! He'll give the game but Sonic must do an evil favor. He wants access to the GUN weapon storage facility, but there's two catches: there's a good chance they could get killed from the maximum security there. The other catch is Sonic could get mistaken for Junkaholic and locked up for life. Afterward, Sonic convinces a reluctant Amy that it must be done. Meanwhile, it turns out that Sony wants a new game idea and things would've been much easier. Back with the rest, Amy heads home and lets Sonic do what he needs to do. Sonic gets by a security guard and runs into Shadow. It turns out that Shadow is on the same mission as Sonic and that they both thought Junkaholic was the head of something. It was Junkaholic that got Shadow into the whole Sears thing. They both get suspicious. Meanwhile, now Junkaholic is sitting in the executive's seat at Sega and saying the same thing to Vector. It's the final straw: Junkaholic is trying to get GUN's weapons and is using the heroes to do so. They find Junkaholic, who used Stormy's credit card to buy Ford. He gives in to them and sells back all the companies except Ford. His credit card actions are discovered and they get shoved out as Stormy arrives. Since Sega can afford the game now, they head back to Sega and later that week, Amy Adventure for the Wii is being played by the gang. It turns out that it was trashy and they throw it away. Amy is pleased with Sonic nonetheless. Lightning gives Amy the weed whacker that screwed Sonic over with money earlier in the episode. The Chao gives her a gift too. They all wonder what became of Junky and Stormy, and it turns out that Stormy is really angry at Junkaholic and had found out about the plot he was trying to pull having been tipped it off by Sonic. They're now billions of dollars in debt and Stormy is none too pleased. Back with the rest, Amy is happy at the gifts she got. The episode then ends as she gets puke as another present from Flash.
