Episode 103 - Team Blast From the Past

PLOT:
Sonic and Knuckles explore the Mystic Ruins and run into Big the Cat (JUNKAHOLIC95) after Sonic wakes up in a poison ivy patch. Big has lost Froggy and they decide to help him. Sonic says it's best to simply look around for him. They split into two, with Sonic and Big together with Knuckles and Espio also paired. Tails shows up and he and Big quickly show how their low IQ makes them quick friends. Sonic isn't too pleased about who he's with. Metal Sonic (KOOPAKID17) appears. Sonic and Metal Sonic soon engage in a fight and it soon turns out that Froggy is in Metal Sonic. Big looks inside him to see if Froggy is there. Metal Sonic shoots Big and he gets knocked out cold. The gang come up with a plan and Big awakens afterward. Sonic continues to attack Metal Sonic. When Knuckles returns, finding some water that will allow them to get Froggy, Sonic pushes Metal Sonic in his direction. However a giant rock knocks out the water he found. They don't know what to do but Sonic suggests something they haven't done since Sonic Heroes: a Team Blast. The move works, even though Sonic gets shot around like he's in a pinball machine after he hits Metal Sonic, and Metal Sonic is defeated. Sonic crashes face first into the ground and Knuckles admits that they might be getting rusty at the move. Froggy emerges from the rubble and Big reunites with him and they depart as quickly as Froggy shows. Sonic is none too pleased about that ending, especially after nearly breaking his face to see it. Meanwhile Blaze and Silver are taking care of Platinum when Tails shows up. Silver dumps Platinum, who needs a diaper change, on Tails. As Tails changes his diaper, Platinum pees on him. Back with the others, they realize their adventure was a waste of time and decide to head home. Sonic, who hasn't been bugged from the poison ivy he slept in earlier, suddenly begins scratching like crazy after he admits he wants to forget about the whole thing happening. In response to his itchy behavior, the Chao dumps lotion all over him. They all jokingly call him Amy since he was covered in pink and the episode ends.
FUN FACTS: This is the first time in the series that a Team Blast is done.
