Episode 69 - E! True Hollywood Story: TNAoSTH
Taped: 07/31/09
PLOT:
Hubert Goldstein kicks off the show. In an E! True Hollywood Story, the show is talked about. The first segment, Series Development, begins with Amy talking about the pilot episode. It drifts into Sonic and Tails going on about...nothing, really. The next segment, Making of the Pilot, begins with Junkaholic speaking about how tough the story is and eventually Stormy joins in on the interview too. It continues with the E! studio being destroyed by Junkzilla and the shooting of the pilot was spoken about next, with Amy doing the honors. Sonic jumps in expressing love on himself and a gold painted chilidog, while Maury expresses his disapproval at first then warming up to the show later on. Hubert continues with speaking about Tails' inclusion and his behavior of being a sex crazed pervert. Silver talks about Tails being a drama queen and the constant sex tape jokes. Footage is then shown of Tails seducing the others. The next segment, The Series Goes On, began with Hubert talking about the evolution of the show over the weeks followed by Silver speaking good about Espio and Espio himself talking about himself and a problem early on about Espio having one boob. They eventually admitted that was really a large tumor although on the air it was Eggman's fault. Knuckles then expresses that the whole fiasco with his own male cousin, a reference to the Knocked up Knuckles saga, was too much. The segment goes back to Hubert as Knuckles and Eggman fight each other. Hubert, admitting that he was the Narrator in the beginning of the series, expresses that after leaving the show because the producers didn't feel like he added anything, and has found other work. Footage is seen of him doing other jobs...but it's just him being a delivery man. A commercial follows. In the next segment that followed the commercial, Pending Doom, Hubert talks about how the staff was beginning to experience problems as the second season went on. Junkaholic expresses the slow viewer decrease and the crew gaining and losing crew members frequently. It caused Junkaholic to close his old studio that eventually caused production to resume in January when the new studio was opened. Blaze says in her interview that the new studio was nice but the crew was still having problems getting along in the first few weeks. Footage then showed of Sonic yelling at Amy, making her cry and scaring Lightning. He gets konked on the head at the end. It followed with Swen saying that he didn't like the staff due to their constant tension with each other and only liked working with Sonic's siblings: Manic and Sonia. More footage follows of Sonia getting ready for a scene which turns out to be the Thanksgiving special that aired in 2008. According to Hubert, it was the end of season two that the tensions stopped. Afterward, they talk about how much the star of the show had changed from such a heavy load. Footage then follows showing Sonic trying to do a scene but constantly messing up, depressing him. They then show how celebs even noticed his depression, like Drew Carey...who eventually gets awkward stares from everyone else. Hubert then explains that the increasing ratings cheered Sonic up. The final segment, A Bright Future, begins with Shadow talking about how amazed he is over the show's progression. Lightning can't believe the show's about him either. Hubert then expressed that the series lives on...until Charmy jumps in and says that most of the stuff said wasn't how it happened at all, exclaiming that they didn't all hate each other and that they love doing this. Charmy also accuses Hubert of being mad because of Junky firing him for trying to hit up Stormy. Hubert is embarrassed at this. Amy realizes this too. Amy asks Sonic why they agreed to do the E! special, only for Sonic to express joy over a promise over a lifetime supply of chilidogs. Amy then gets up from her seat, joins the rest of the cast, and closes the special out. It ends with Rockapella singing the Carmen Sandiego theme as the cast dances, except Sonic who says he can't dance and just goes to eat a chilidog. The credits roll, confetti cannons fire, and The Chief ends it Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego style. The episode then ends.
